This Privacy Policy explains what information NetWatch BD collects, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: username, email address, phone number and your encrypted password.
- Monitoring data: the IP addresses, links and ports you add, and the results of our checks (status, response time, incidents).
- Alert contacts: the email addresses, phone numbers and Telegram chat you choose to receive alerts on.
- Payment information: package, amount, transaction ID and payment status. Card payments are processed by SSLCommerz; we do not receive or store card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address and time of sign-ins and important account actions, kept for security.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: run checks, send alerts and reports, and show your dashboard.
- To process payments and activate packages.
- To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account, renewals or support requests. We do not send marketing messages without your consent.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to run the Service: our hosting provider, email (SMTP) provider, SMS gateway, Telegram (if you connect it) and SSLCommerz for payments, or when required by the law of Bangladesh.
Public status pages
If you turn on a public status page, the service names you choose and their status and uptime are visible to anyone with the link. IP addresses are hidden unless you choose to show them.
Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sensitive settings are encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and accounts are protected by lockout and optional two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Retention
Detailed check results are kept for about 7 days, incidents and payments for as long as your account exists, security logs for 90 days, and notification logs for 30 days. When you delete your account, we delete your data from the live system; backups are overwritten within about 14 days.
Your rights
You can view and update your information in your dashboard, download a copy of your data from Backup & Restore, and ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your sign-in session and theme choice locally so the app works.
